Manager - Branch Office Leases The candidate manages and maintains a high volume of branch office leases, terminations, and renewals. Develops and implements policies and procedures to improve efficiency of the leasing department. Assumes ownership and maintains control of original lease documentation and master lease files. Abstracts all leases and lease related documents. Maintains and updates database for all branch leases. Ensures all lease-related transactions, monthly rent, insurance and common area charges are reviewed and properly communicated to Accounting. Tracks critical dates relating to the lease-related clauses and landlord deadlines in lease database and communicates said dates and deadlines to management in a timely manner. Assists with the drafting of leases, amendments, and other transaction and real estate related documents. Assists with lease negotiations and interpretations. Prepares and handles all lease correspondence and serves as the point of contact for all lease communications. Acts as internal liaison between the Legal Department, Production Department, and Onboarding Team for internal lease review process. Performs various special projects and other functions as needed from time to time. Maintains a professional image and adheres to standards consistent with company policies and procedures. Must have Associates degree. Should have 3+ years of lease negotiation and administration experience. Paralegal background with leasing experience is preferred. Strong understanding of commercial office leases and related documents is needed. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) is needed.
