Legal Administrative Assistant/Paralegal The candidate will serve in electronic filing and service of pleading and discovery. Will draft CMC Statements and notifications to counsel. Draft complaints, settlement agreements, UCC letters, demand letters to processors and declarations. Draft default judgments and dismissals. Schedule court calls, calendaring. Case follow up, follow up on settlement agreements. Filing, process daily mail. Assist controller and attorneys with special projects. Communicate with the client at the direction of Paralegals.

Qualification and Experience

The candidate should have an Associate’s Degree in legal studies and/or Paralegal Certificate. Must have 1-2 years of law firm experience. Solid understanding of California Civil Rules of Procedure essential. Familiarity with California court websites needed. Must be experienced in MS Office applications, Nuance or Adobe software, document storage, Outlook and calendaring software.
