ProfileWashington, D.C. office of our client seeks attorney with experience. The candidate will join the privacy and cybersecurity practice. Will regularly represent clients in high-stakes investigations brought by the FTC as well as state Attorneys General and the FCC. Provide clients with practical advice on how to collect, use, and share data and comply with complex global privacy laws. Devise thoughtful and effective business and legal responses to security breaches. Help clients create, enhance, and audit privacy and cybersecurity policies and programs; and develop and implement global compliance programs. Experience with technology industries, government regulation and technology, or FTC policy and enforcement regarding privacy and data security issues is desirable. Familiarity with computer programming, network technologies, database design, and web technologies is strongly preferred. CIPP certification is a plus.
