Prospective Immigration Law Clerk, Temporary The candidate will be responsible for the preparation of waiver-of-inadmissibility packets on behalf of clients who are applying for either adjustment of status (AOS) here in the United States or via the US consulates/embassies in their country of nationality. Strong preference for recent law school graduates; someone who already have a Bachelorâ€™s Degree with strong writing and research skills. Bar applicants are strongly welcomed to apply. Must be bilingual (Spanish/English). Must be able to handle a caseload of 25-30 waivers, preparing and completing 2-3 packets per week. Must have excellent written communication skills, arguing persuasively and coherently on behalf of our clientele. S/he must also have the capacity to prioritize, multi-task, and meet strict deadlines in a fluid, fast-paced environment. Must demonstrate the ability to learn quickly, work independently, and perform under pressure. Must also have the ability, integrity, and discretion to handle confidential matters and interact with the firmâ€™s clientele in a professional manner.
