Key Responsibilities

• Represent clients in family law cases, including divorce, custody, support, and adoption.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to provide informed legal advice and strategy.
• Draft, review, and file legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, agreements, and court forms.
• Attend court hearings, trials, depositions, and mediations.
• Collaborate with clients to gather necessary information and documentation for their cases.
• Negotiate settlements and agreements with opposing parties.
• Maintain client files and records in compliance with legal and firm standards.
• Keep clients informed about case developments and explain legal procedures and options clearly.
• Manage a diverse caseload efficiently, ensuring all deadlines are met.
• Work closely with other attorneys and staff to ensure high-quality client service.

Requirements

• Must be a licensed attorney in the state of California.
• Proven experience in family law is preferred.
• Excellent written, analytical, and oral communication skills.
• Strong work ethic and the ability to handle multiple clients and cases simultaneously.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
• High level of professionalism and ethical standards.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active member in good standing with the California State Bar.
