Duties:

  • Assist in managing IP litigation cases, including patent, trademark, and trade secret disputes.
  • Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and settlement agreements.
  • Conduct legal research on complex IP issues and provide strategic advice to senior attorneys and clients.
  • Participate in depositions, hearings, and trials.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop case strategies and handle various aspects of IP litigation.
  • Oversee document review and discovery processes, ensuring compliance with legal procedures.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, offering timely and practical legal advice.
  • Stay current with developments in intellectual property law, contributing to the firm's thought leadership.

Requirements:

  • 1-5 years of experience in intellectual property disputes, with a focus on patent or trademark litigation.
  • Technical background in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Active membership in the bar of the state where the position is located.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Proven ability to build client relationships and deliver results.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:
