Job Title: Family Law Attorney

Duties:
- Conduct in-depth legal research on family law matters
- Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, orders, and discovery requests
- Assist senior attorneys with trial preparation and case management
- Communicate regularly with clients to ensure updates and provide legal guidance
- Maintain accurate and organized case files, following firm protocols
- Collaborate effectively with court staff, opposing counsel, and other relevant parties
- Represent clients in various proceedings including settlement negotiations, mediations, hearings, and trials
Requirements:
- Licensed to practice law in North Carolina
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in family law
- Strong proficiency in legal research and document drafting
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- In-depth knowledge of family law procedures and local court rules
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively
- Proven litigation experience with a capacity to advocate for clients in the courtroom
- Positive, professional attitude and strong interpersonal skills
Education:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Certifications:
- Admission to the North Carolina Bar
