Business Immigration Paralegal RESPONSIBILITIES: Quickly gain expertise in our immigration tracking database, including complex reporting functions. Process incoming immigration paperwork from clients and government agencies, including updating and maintaining immigration tracking database. Correspond with clients and third-party vendors. Maintain case files in a primarily paperless office environment.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. 2 years of paralegal experience in a fast-paced business immigration environment. PERM and NIV experience, required. Strong proficiency with the MS Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Ability to prepare a full range of both immigrant and nonimmigrant petitions, preferred. Capacity to prioritize, manage, and implement multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment. Proven ability to simultaneously manage multiple cases. Ability to successfully drive and complete projects and assignments under minimal supervision and direction. Exceptional customer service skills and ability to work with all levels of a client’s organization. Strong organization, time management and multi-tasking abilities. Solid analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to formulate and communicate recommendations for improvement. Have the ability to work effectively with others and have great interpersonal skills. Must be willing to accept responsibility and show good judgment, initiative, and resourcefulness. Highly motivated to troubleshoot and experiment with various MS Office software applications and systems. Strong desire to learn.
