Treasury Management Risk & Contract Assurance Specialist The candidate utnder the supervision of the Treasury Management (TM) Director of Planning and Execution, will be responsible for contributing to the growth and profitability of the bank by crafting and negotiating Treasury Management agreements in alignment with our risk taking and mitigating appetite. This includes validating that customer contracts are correctly completed prior to sending to clients and signed by authorized signers when completed. Additionally, this requires the ability to negotiate with business clients on acceptable Treasury Managementterms and conditions. The incumbent also possesses strong process improvement tendencies and the desire to design and test controls in process, policy, and procedure. Provides this support for all products for the entire franchise across all regions/banks. Serve as a subject matter expert on all TM and Bank Agreements for all of Treasury Management, displaying a deep level of understanding in contracting concepts, bank areas of negotiation, and all Arvest Treasury Management products. Review all client contracts to ensure they are clear, filled out correctly, and correspond to the service that has been requested prior to being sent to the client by TM Sales Advisors or Treasury Management Sales Specialists. Provide direction to TM Sales Advisors and Treasury Management Sales Specialists on how to fill out forms for ongoing process improvement. Work with clients, sales, and other partners to negotiate any term changes requested by the client prior to them being willing to execute the agreements. Validate that executed agreements sent from Sales were signed by individuals at the client who are authorized to sign such agreements, then forward to Onboarding for service fulfilment. Work with the Director and other members of the TM Leadership team to continually improve the TM agreement, process, risk management procedures. Serve as process steward for TM processes, demonstrating strong process improvement tendencies and the desire to design and test controls in process, policy, and procedure. Serve as a Risk Management steward for all product development projects, ensuring we connect the dots on product changes, risk mitigation approaches, and the TM agreement terms and conditions for that service. Serve as the voice of Risk Management into Treasury Management, staying connected with other areas of the bank with responsibility over mitigating risk. Serve as a liaison to internal and external legal counsel as changes are made. Serve as a liaison and advocate for ways to improve risk review processes and inspire change that balances the needs of revenue generation with risk mitigation with compliance, audit and other internal stakeholders. Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank's BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties. This includes but is not limited to; complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls; report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations and report any suspicious customer and/or account activity. Support and uphold the Arvest Mission Statement. Uphold the Arvest Code of Ethics and ensure that confidential information is safeguarded. Maintain a high level of cooperation and rapport with all associates in order to ensure accurate and efficient operations and service. Formulate and communicate new ideas and suggestions that will improve profitability and efficiency for the company's overall operation. Promote professionalism at all times.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have Bachelor’s degree in a business related field (Pre-Law, Finance, Economics, Accounting, etc.) or an Associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies. 4 years of experience in Treasury Management providing a deep understanding of all Treasury Management solutions required. Must have strong customer skills including desire to meet client needs through sales required. Demonstrated knowledge of Excel, Word & PowerPoint required. Professional level written and verbal communication skills required. Must have strong risk management inclination with desire to strike the right balance between risk taking, risk mitigation and process efficiency required. Contract negotiation experience preferred.
