Contracts Manager The candidate will analyze and negotiate contracts between Danaher Water Quality operating companies and supplers, customers, partners, consultants, and others; Partner with field and corporate sales, purchasing, and other internal stakeholders to understand and deliver contract needs; Identify and track key performance indicators to drive improvements. Will act in capacity of operating company liaison with customer purchasing department to establish mutually acceptable terms and conditions when issuing new contracts. Act in capacity of operating company liaison with Corporate Insurance representatives and Risk Management to establish mutually acceptable insurance requirements. Utilize document tracking (including contract lifecycle management systems). May be responsible for managing legal review for segments of the platform. Business and Technical knowledge of key contract terms and legal issues in contracts. Should have strong writing skills; Strong computer skills, including Excel and Word. Communication skills and judgment to presents arguments, lead negotiations, and influence decisions is essential.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have Bachelors degree with an emphasis in Accounting, English/Literature/Writing, Business, Business Law or related focus. JD degree is preferred. 4-5 years of experience in contracts or purchasing departments or as a paralegal or in business law with an emphasis in contract drafting and review (including experience with contractual, indemnification and insurance concepts) or related field is preferred. French is preferred. Large law firm experience is preferred.
