Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have a High school diploma. Associates degree in business administration or related field preferred. One â€“ three(1-3) years of secretary/administrative assistant experience, preferably in the legal field. Commensurate combination of education and experience will be considered. Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and ability to work with legal technology (NYSCEF and Federal court ECF, transcription software, digital dictation equipment, etc.). Must be motivated, self-starter and be able to work independently. High level of dependability in completing assigned tasks and following through on assignments. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. A professional demeanor and team player is essential.
