Legal Assistant - Licensing Duties: Assists the General Counsel and other lawyers in the Legal Department and the Quality & Regulatory Compliance Team in managing the licensure requirements of the Company’s facilities to support the business operations and services. Coordinates with field management to collect information necessary to support the license application process. Serves as the central contact and representative of the Company in communications with outside government agencies. Serves as the Company’s liaison with outside licensing services firms that may be engaged to support the licensing activities. Provides general administrative support to Law Department members. Maintains central repository of licensing files for all distribution centers for all states. Maintains general knowledge and familiarity of various state and federal laws applicable to licensing requirements. Serves as corporate contact for field management on licensing matters. Works with Quality & Regulatory Compliance team to ensure compliance with all licensing requirements.

Qualification and Experience

Qualifications: Under graduate four-year university degree. 5-8 years of legal administrative experience. Fully computer-literate. Experienced in computer research. Self-starter. Excellent planning and organizational skills. Ability to analyze and conclude. Ability to work independently.
