Paralegal/Legal Support Worker Duties: Assist the attorneys to analyze immigration and other business transactional related data and provide suggestion on investment to attorneys and clients. Draft specialized support letters and prepare immigration documents. Work on a wide variety of cases and processes alongside our attorneys. Translate documents from English to Chinese and visa versa. Conduct legal and factual research and data analysis as directed and compile data from sources such as electronic digests, encyclopedias, practice manuals and/or other laws and regulations Maintain legal files, maintain system of preservation for all original legal documents including scanning and indexing for electronic records and database. Be extremely organized and detail-oriented Review and Analyze documents in depth to comply with filing requirements Analyze and maintain database in order to provide suggestions to attorneys Translate documents from Chinese into English or vice versa Complete filings according to attorneys’ instruction Be social, friendly, and helpful with clients Main Duties include using analytical software to analyze database in order to provide business and economics-related suggestions to attorneys and clients. Other duties include correspondence/email and telephone interface with clients and corporate personnel.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in law or data analysis related majors. Bachelor’s Degree is minimum requirement for academic achievement. Employment-based immigration experience preferred. Knowledge of Chinese-American law and business is a plus. A detailed approach to handling multiple projects and meeting deadlines with minimal supervision. Must be fluent in English and mandarin Chinese. Must have excellent writing and communication skills. Must have ability to handle high pressure and multi-functions. Analytical skills and basic knowledge of Chinese-U.S. law, business and economies.
