Senior Subrogation / Commercial Attorney The candidate will be responsible for the successful delivery of company's services to clients. Will have overall responsibility for management of a number of commercial contracts and related contracts to support the primary clients. Communicate company legal position to clients and attorneys related to casualty recovery cases. Analyze and stay current on health care subrogation laws, regulations, and policies. Serve as primary liaison with subrogation clients. Work with company-wide resources to ensure key client deliverables and revenue goals are met. Develop and manage budget and revenue expectations for a specific market. May have full P&L responsibility. Identify sources of revenue through use of sales and marketing skills. Support sales efforts throughout assigned market. Work with clients and stakeholders to shape procurements and identify opportunities for value added services. Support procurement processes and RFP responses. Introduce, negotiate, and implement new projects to expand scope of engagement. Monitor competitor activity, legislative and regulatory initiatives, and agency concerns and contracts. Develop and present reports and other written communication to the client and internal staff. Interact with executives, supporting staff, and client constituencies. Ensure overall service delivery and client satisfaction for assigned market. May supervise additional account management staff. Support collaboration between account management team and operations staff.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree and a law degree. Should be an attorney licensed to practice in at least one of the United States. Must have 12+ years of subrogation practice and account management experience. Should preferably have experience in one of the following areas: health insurance, government, client service/business to business, healthcare policy, and industry with high level of compliance. Commercial insurance subrogation experience is required. Should have ability to understand company's legal position in relation to casualty recovery cases.
