Legal Assistant The candidate primary responsibility of the Legal Assistant is to draft and prepare legal documents and file documents. This position will also coordinate due diligence for securities offerings and commercial real estate transactions, analyze title commitments, surveys and legal descriptions. Coordinate due diligence for commercial real estate transactions. Analyze title commitments, surveys, plats, zoning conditions, homeowners association documents and legal descriptions. Work closely with lenders and title companies to clear title and obtain title policies. Prepare initial draft documents for securities offerings and commercial real estate transactions. Prepare and review closing binders. Prepare closing checklists, critical dates lists, and transaction summaries.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate. Must have 3+ years administrative experience, preferably in commercial real estate and securities offerings. Technology proficient, including PowerPoint, Word and Excel is needed. Must have familiarity with scheduling software.
