Paralegal The candidate will do general case management, drafting of pleadings, discovery, and other litigation documents; proofreading and cite checking of documents; preparation of documents for filing with state and federal courts; communications with courts, counsel, and attorney services; legal research; and maintenance of dockets and calendar control. Will support other team paralegals. As such, he or she must be able to handle changing priorities, work independently and as part of a team with many different personalities, not be afraid to ask questions, be assertive, quick to absorb information, and have a high degree of accuracy. American Bar Association approved paralegal certificate is required. Associate's degree is required, Bachelor's degree is preferred. 2-3 years complex civil litigation paralegal experience is required.
