Associate Family Law Attorney

Moreno and Associates law firm has been serving the Greater San Diego community since 1984. We are a law firm specialized in family, immigration, criminal, and bankruptcy law. We are currently seeking to add an additional Associate Family Law Attorney for our Chula Vista office location. This is a great opportunity to establish a long-term career at our growing family-oriented firm.

Requirements:

• Executes case strategy with senior attorneys, paralegals, clients and support staff.
• Research and develop case information, evidence, and settlement options.
• Supports case planning by meeting with senior attorneys to prepare for mediation conferences or trial; preparing pleadings; monitoring discovery responses
• Preparing for court; reviewing standard court documents; drafting letters; writing and reviewing discovery; contacting opposing counsel to try to find resolution for clients
• Attend court hearings.
• Keeps clients informed by maintaining contact; track cases and communicating case progress.

Qualification:

• 1-3 years of family law experience
• State Bar of California License without disciplinary actions (Required)
• Conversational Spanish (Required)
• Strong organization and communication skills
• Excellent client relations
