A law firm seeks an associate attorney to join its Municipal Law practice in Lemoyne, PA. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 5 years of experience in municipal law, land use, or real estate development. Duties:

  • Represent municipal clients in legal matters including land use, zoning, real estate development, and municipal governance.
  • Provide legal counsel to municipal entities on compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents related to real estate transactions and municipal agreements.
  • Assist with litigation involving municipal law, including court appearances, depositions, and hearings.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and staff on complex legal issues, providing research and drafting support.
  • Manage caseloads independently while also working in a team-oriented environment.
  • Attend meetings with clients, opposing counsel, and government entities.

Requirements:

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in municipal law, land use, or real estate law.
  • Experience representing municipal entities or working on real estate development projects is preferred.
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload with attention to detail.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Pennsylvania Bar License (Required).
  • US work authorization (Required).

Skills:

  • Expertise in municipal law, land use, and real estate development.
  • Strong writing and drafting skills for legal documents and correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with clients, colleagues, and external parties.
