Seeking Paralegal/ Office Manager with experience in Civil/Personal Injury, Immigration law and Bankruptcy. The candidate: Must be detail oriented and should be able to prioritize projects effectively. ABA-Approved Paralegal Certificate preferred, or in the alternative, 2+ years' experience in personal injury and bankruptcy law. Must have strong organizational and communication skills along with a strong willingness to learn and adapt. Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a must. Must be experienced in bankruptcy and personal injury law: Personal Injury: Must be experienced handling personal injury matters beginning with initial intake to trial; Must be familiar with local and federal filing procedure; Must be experienced with calendaring; Must be comfortable writing motions, CMC statements, briefs, answering/propounding discovery, preparing demand packets to insurance companies, etc. Must be experienced in handling Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy matters beginning with initial intake to discharge; Experience with Chapter 11 bankruptcy a helpful, but not mandatory; Must be familiar with federal filing procedure in the Southern District Bankruptcy Court. Familiarity in the Central and Northern Districts helpful; Must be comfortable writing motions and preparing all required bankruptcy filings.
