Litigation Administrative Assistant The candidate will be primarily responsible for supporting the firm's team of litigation attorneys by performing the following duties. Will prepare and process correspondence, court filings in state, federal, appellate and bankruptcy courts, pleadings, discovery, subpoenas and other miscellaneous legal documents in an accurate and timely manner, conforming to all rules of grammar, punctuation, and style Type reports and create forms as needed. Schedule appointments and maintain personal calendars. Coordinate and arrange meetings and travel plans. Prepare expense reports. Transcribe and type correspondence and other documents, and proofread materials. Must have working knowledge of Outlook, Word, Compulaw, ProLaw and iManage. Excellent verbal and communication skill is essential. Knowledge of local, state and federal rules as well as electronic ECF filing is essential. Must have experience working in a mid to large size law firm. Should have 3+ years’ experience as a legal assistant supporting litigation attorneys. Paralegal experience is preferred.
