Senior Attorney, Trademarks The candidate will work at the direction of firm’s Chief IP Counsel in the clearance, enforcement and licensing of our IP rights. Will analyze and recommend strategies in enforcement actions. Responsible for the legal aspects of the trademark licensing group; make recommendations in the negotiation of trademark license agreements and related disputes; draft related deal memos, long-form agreements, etc. Manage online monitoring and both online and offline enforcement programs. Manage the day-to-day needs of our IP cases. Conduct trademark availability searches and prepare risk analysis reports. Assist marketing lawyers and paralegals with review of ads and promotional materials for IP issues. Work with internal personnel worldwide to obtain necessary information and follow-up re all the above. Collaborate on the management of and communicate directly with outside counsel in more than 150 countries. Will manage applicable legal support staff. Should have JD degree from an accredited U.S. law school. Must have 5-7 years of experience in trademark enforcement, licensing, prosecution, and clearance for multinational consumer brands (experience from both a major law firm and an in-house position preferred).
