Boca Raton office of our client seeks land use attorney with experience. The candidate will work in all aspects of land use law, including comprehensive plans, zoning issues, subdivision regulations and related environmental issues, and assist clients through due diligence, acquisitions and securing entitlements for their projects. Will work closely with the clients, real estate attorneys, architects, engineers and a variety of other consultants on development projects. Meeting all public participation, environmental and legal prerequisites for comprehensive plan amendments, zoning amendments and interpretations, land division, public improvement requirements and related entitlements necessary for development. Interacting with clients through email correspondence, telephone calls and in-person meetings. Reviewing property information, land use, zoning and development regulations and analyzing the development potential of a property during due diligence. Providing formal opinions as to the viability of a property for the client’s intended use. Preparing applications and justifications for Site Plans, Rezoning Applications, Conditional Use Applications, Variances, Land Use Plan Amendments and related applications for project entitlements. Representing clients at staff level meetings, development review committee meetings, community meetings and before local governing boards and committees, including Planning and Zoning Board hearings and City Commission meetings.
