Duties & Responsibilities: - Review and sign demand letters - Prepare, review and sign pleadings - Negotiate settlements - Prepare pleadings, including lawsuits - Attend hearings and take depositions - Advise clients Position Requirements - Member in good standing of the Michigan Bar - 3-5 years of litigation and/or collection experience (particularly replevin) - Experience attending hearings and bench trials - Great work ethic and commitment to professionalism - Get along well with others - Client focused - Ability to handle high case load with limited supervision - Engaging personality, since you will have direct contact with clients - Effective negotiator - Keen eye for detail Salary & Benefits Law Firm offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
