Legal Assistant / Paralegal The candidate’s duties include standard clerical support in a legal environment including answering attorney phone calls, keeping attorney calendar, preparing legal documents and correspondence, data entry and making sure the attorneys have all of the information they need to be prepared for all scheduled activities such as hearings and trials. Responsibilities also include requesting documents from medical facilities and governmental agencies, review and analyze medical records to determine a diagnosis, maintain an inventory of materials, create and edit spreadsheets, and scan and organize electronic case files. Must have medical background. Must have strong time management and communication skills. Excellent customer service skills are essential as the position directly communicates with clients. Should have 5+ years of experience in the legal field is required. A college graduate with a solid educational background is preferred.
