A law firm in Phoenix is seeking a Family Law Attorney with a minimum of 5 years of experience in family law. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in handling dissolution, post-decree modifications, parenting agreements, paternity cases, and pre and post-nuptial agreements. Experience with family law trials, hearings, settlement conferences, and mediations is essential. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of developing and delivering case strategies, managing client relationships, and demonstrating excellent technical and negotiation skills. Strong persuasive writing skills and admission to practice law in Arizona are required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Handle all aspects of family law cases, including dissolution, post-decree modifications, parenting agreements, paternity, and pre and post-nuptial agreements.
  • Represent clients in family law trials, hearings, settlement conferences, and mediations.
  • Develop and deliver effective case strategies based on thorough legal analysis and client needs.
  • Manage client relationships, ensuring clear communication and addressing client concerns promptly.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
  • Negotiate settlements and represent clients in negotiations with opposing counsel.
  • Provide expert legal advice and guidance on complex family law matters.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of family law statutes, regulations, and case law.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to ensure comprehensive case management.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing family law.
  • Proven experience with family law trials, hearings, settlement conferences, and mediations.
  • Experience with dissolution, post-decree modifications, parenting agreements, paternity cases, and pre and post-nuptial agreements.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver case strategies.
  • Strong client management skills and experience in managing components of case strategy.
  • Excellent technical, negotiation, and persuasive writing skills.
  • Admitted and in good standing with the Arizona State Bar.

Education:

  • JD degree from an accredited law school.
  • Strong academic record with evidence of academic excellence.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Bar in Arizona, with good standing.

Skills:

  • Expertise in family law matters, including dissolution, parenting agreements, and pre/post-nuptial agreements.
  • Proficiency in handling family law trials, hearings, and mediations.
