Litigation Paralegal The candidate will manage all aspects of litigation from the pre-suit work up to the filing of suit to trial. Will order accident reports and insurance files. Order medical and billing records. Mediation/Depositions - schedule and prepare binders. Prepare medical summaries. Cross reference medical providers. Read depositions for additional medical providers. File documents with the Court including follow-up/service of process. Evaluation of cases to determine viability and value. Communicate with insurance companies and personnel. Communicate with opposing counsel and Court personnel. General communication with clients regarding their cases. Work with attorneys and other staff in the firm on various assignments and topics. Supervision of other Pre-Litigation Staff to ensure that cases are being handled properly and expeditiously prior to the litigation phase. Writing, communications, and presentation skills are needed. Bilingual and Non-Smoking are desired. Should have 3+ years of prior civil litigation experience required.
