Wealth Planning Advisor Candidate will assist clients with wealth planning needs, including financial, retirement and estate planning. Performs basic to complex assessments and recommendations for predominantly Private Banking and High Net Worth clients with existing plans. Works closely with internal partners, including Private Bankers, Wealth Advisors, and Personal Trust Offers and acts as a liaison with the legal, tax and business community to promote the benefits of wealth planning and the mission, role and services of Wealth Management Group (“WMG”).

Qualification and Experience

Candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, and/or a related discipline. Must be licensed in the State of Hawaii to practice law. 5+ years of experience as a practicing attorney or accountant concentrating in the areas of trust, estate, tax, retirement, real estate and/or corporate structuring and planning is required. Technical competency in retirement, trust, estate and tax planning techniques and related vehicles is needed. Working knowledge of financial and/or estate planning is preferred. Certified Public Accountant with an emphasis on tax accounting or equivalent is preferred. Thorough knowledge of life insurance products, strategies and underwriting is needed. Proven Complete understanding of retirement, trust, estate and tax planning is needed. Thorough knowledge of tax law, investments and retirement plans is required. Strong knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, RMS and Branch Automation is needed.
