Contract Administrator The candidate drafts, reviews, negotiates and administers contracts throughout their life cycle and performs other assigned legal duties with the direction of an attorney from Nintendo's Legal department. Proactively plans for, initiates, and manages contract renewals. Communicates verbally and in writing with relevant internal team members and supplier contacts. May occasionally communicate with supplier's attorney when joined by a Nintendo attorney. Updates and maintains files in the contract management system in a timely manner for internal communication, tracking and reporting purposes. Partners with procurement staff and the business to establish procurement strategies for key suppliers and to set negotiation objectives for business-critical contracts. Participates in the competitive bid process, supporting procurement staff and the business. Helps analyze supplier proposals to recommend final supplier selection. Participates in the negotiation of favorable pricing, terms, and conditions of key contracts and purchases while ensuring compliance with all laws and regulations. Provides regular updates to management, attorneys, and the business about the progress of key contract negotiations. Collaborates daily with procurement staff to ensure that Purchase Orders reference the appropriate governing contracts and details. Monitors and reports on supplier performance and their fulfillment of contractual obligations to the business, management, and attorneys. Researches key industry players, competitors, trends and areas of innovation, opportunity and risk. Communicates findings and recommendations to the business, management, and attorneys, as appropriate. Assists with training related to systems and processes. Qualification and Experience

The candidate should have Bachelor's degree in a business, legal, or related field, or equivalent, is required. Should have 4-6 years of contract administration or equivalent experience. Prior experience using a contract management system and electronic signature software (such as DocuSign) is essential. Experience supporting a sales and marketing environment is preferred. Intermediate MS Excel, Word and Power Point is needed. Knowledge of Nintendo products are preferred. Completion of paralegal classes, professional certification or degree is preferred. Completion of purchasing or supply chain classes or certification is preferred.
