Job Overview: A prestigious law firm in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking a Senior Associate or Junior Counsel with expertise in Executive Compensation and Employee Benefits, particularly in the context of Mergers and Acquisitions. The role will involve high-level responsibilities in drafting, negotiating, and managing various executive employment agreements and incentive plans.

Duties:

• Draft and negotiate executive employment agreements.
• Develop and manage equity incentive plans, including profits interest plans.
• Provide legal advice related to executive compensation and employee benefits during mergers and acquisitions.
• Assist with compliance regarding employee benefits and executive compensation regulations.
• Collaborate with other legal teams on employee benefit plans, retirement benefits, and other related areas.
• Provide strategic counsel on compensation and benefits to clients during high-profile transactions.

Requirements:

• Relevant experience in executive compensation and employee benefits law.
• Strong background in mergers and acquisitions involving compensation and benefits.
• Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects with varying deadlines.
• Proficiency in legal research and analytical skills related to benefits and employment agreements.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the California State Bar.
