A law firm seeks a dedicated Associate Attorney to join its Connecticut practice group. This full-time role offers the flexibility of a hybrid or fully remote schedule. The ideal candidate will have experience handling insurance defense litigation, managing caseloads, and conducting depositions. Duties:
Manage an active caseload under the guidance of senior attorneys.
Draft motions, pleadings, and status reports.
Conduct depositions and represent clients in court proceedings.
Provide strategic legal counsel to clients on case developments.
Maintain organized case files and ensure timely case progress.
Requirements:
At least two (2) years of experience in insurance defense litigation.
Strong legal research, analytical, and writing skills.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Ability to handle multiple cases efficiently while meeting deadlines.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for client and court interactions.
Education:
Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
Admission to the Connecticut State Bar (Required).
Admission to the New York State Bar is a plus.
Skills:
Expertise in litigation procedures and case strategy.
Proficiency in legal drafting and document review.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a legal team.
Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
Work Setting & Schedule:
Full-time position based in White Plains, NY.
Hybrid or fully remote schedule available.
