Should have General civil litigation from divorces, adoption, paternity, support enforcement, personal injury auto accidents, some slip and falls, as well as bankruptcy (mostly chapter 13 & 7). Some real estate closings as well as foreclosure defense is needed. Must be comfortable preparing basic legal documents, know how to E-File, manage the office calendar and attorney schedule as well as schedule mediations, depos, hearings, etc. Should have 0-2 years of experience as a legal assistant or legal secretary. Strong writing, editing and proofreading ability is needed. General letter writing and some light dictation when needed.
