Contracts Administrator Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Experience with drafting new agreements and amending existing language as deemed necessary for business needs. Performs moderately complex activities of administration, review, and analysis of contracts. Interprets contracts to ensure alignment with company objectives. Ensures compliance with federal contract regulations and various reporting requirements. In coordination with management, consults with legal staff in identifying areas for improvement in standard contracts and areas of noncompliance. Reviews and analyzes documents to determine contractual obligations. Works with internal departments to determine contract terms and conditions for non-disclosure agreements, customer evaluations and supplier agreements. Ensures that the contracts are secure, readily accessible and updated in the various databases. Corresponds and communicates across departments regarding the terms of the contract during final review process. Assists in negotiation of contracts or licensing agreements as experience warrants. Assists with administering all types of contracts including Cost Reimbursable, T&M, IDIQ, FFP, LOE and task orders from pre-award phase to closeout, including the review of contract modifications, subcontractor agreements and routine correspondence. Maintains contracts databases and contracts files.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have 1-3 years of previous contract administration experience is preferred. Experience working with all contract types. Good knowledge of applicable contract laws, FAR & DFAR, and state/federal regulations. Thorough knowledge of process management and policies. Good negotiation, time management, communication, decision-making, human relations, and organization skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently. Proficiency in MS Office Suite is required. Bachelor's degree in business or paralegal field. Clearance: Active secret clearance or ability to obtain a secret level clearance.
