Labor and Employment - Senior Associate
The candidate should have 7-10 years’ experience in both employment related litigation and transactional employment work. Such experience includes handling discrimination cases, wage and hour class actions and contract disputes in federal and state court and/or before administrative agencies such as the Department of Labor and humans rights agencies. Transactional work includes: advice and counseling; wage and hour audits; federal and state employment law research and analysis of complex issues; preparation of employment-related documents, such as employment and severance agreements, workplace policies and procedures, leaves of absence forms and letters, and employee communications. Traditional labor law and experience conducting employment training is also desired. Candidate must be able to juggle multiple assignments, be strategic and detail oriented, have a high sense of urgency and have the ability to prioritize. Superior academic and writing credentials and solid law firm experience are required. NY bar admission is required. NJ/PA/CT bar admissions are a plus.

I suggest having some fun team building stuff to keep people from getting bored. People will work better if they aren't so bored all the time.

Pros : The work here is extremely easy and the pay is decent enough for it. We even get a decent amount of vacation time.
Cons : Every day here is a slog and you just count down the hours until it is over. The work is boring and requires no thought at all.
