Duties:

  • Treat clients and customers with fairness and respect, working to create practical payment solutions tailored to individual financial situations.
  • Perform thorough legal research and prepare legal documents with a high standard of quality.
  • Manage a high-volume caseload, offering expert analysis and strategic advice on legal and regulatory risks.
  • Negotiate with opposing counsel to resolve cases efficiently and effectively.
  • Represent clients in various legal proceedings, including court hearings throughout Georgia.
  • Report case activity and outcomes to the Managing Attorney to ensure alignment with client objectives.

Requirements:

  • Active license to practice law in Georgia (Required).
  • 0-3 years of experience in civil litigation, with a preference for candidates familiar with debt collection, creditor rights, and related regulatory frameworks such as FDCPA, RESPA, and TILA.
  • Proficiency with case management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to perform effectively in court.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks under strict deadlines.
  • Strong work ethic, team-oriented, and committed to ethical and professional standards.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active Georgia State Bar membership (Required).

Skills:

  • Proficiency in analyzing case law and providing strategic recommendations.
  • Strong organizational abilities and time management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and handle a fast-paced, high-volume workload.
  • Collaborative team player with a commitment to quality and client satisfaction.
