Profile

Technical Industy Specialist The candidate will support Internal Information Security Inquiries/Investigations. Will engage as part of the global company Security team responsible to ensure our infrastructure, processes, personnel, and global enterprise systems are executing to the highest standards, thus maintaining and enhancing customer trust and reflecting all aspects of tenets to protect company, employees, and maximize customer trust in systems. Will require to partner with AWS business owners to define and develop enterprise protection solutions. This position involves regular communication with executive management on project status, risks, and mitigation. Cross-team coordination, operational agility, information security technical acumen, meticulous project management and the delivery of results are essential.

Qualification and Experience

A Bachelor’s degree required. Graduate of recognized law enforcement/intelligence academy (preferably National level) with minimum 7 years of progressively responsible investigative experience is required. 3 years Investigative management experience for a federal/international law enforcement agency is preferred. An advanced degree, JD, or specialized training in investigations, specifically forensics, cyber/digital, technical collection, investigative techniques, information protection/threat mitigation is desired. Previous witness experience and understanding of federal/state/international laws including rules of evidence is required. Should have experience in liaison with commercial entities to implement effective security solutions. Will have substantial experience conducting technical investigations/investigative operations with excellent stakeholder engagement and superior communication skills. Should have substantial experience in conducting interviews/eliciting information, pertinent to internal inquiries. Must have experience in incident management in a legal (preferably Federal/International law enforcement) environment. Should have experience conducting/supervising investigations with a strong emphasis on information security and/or technical insider threat detection and mitigation. Must have demonstrated ability to partner with and leverage the expertise of technical specialists in pursuing complex matters to their logical conclusion. Experience collecting and preserving physical evidence/electronic data for assessment and analysis is required. Should have demonstrated ability applying sophisticated investigative techniques including surveillance/counter-surveillance detection skills, technical threat mitigation, investigative data analysis, and production of investigative documentation. Must have proven ability to conduct complex sophisticated investigative projects including extensive and ongoing liaison (face to face, virtual) with internal and external stakeholders as a valued partner.
