A prominent labor and employment law firm is seeking an experienced Employment Law Counsel to join its virtual office. This fully remote position is ideal for attorneys with at least five years of experience in employment law and litigation. The role involves handling administrative charges, demand letters, and employment litigation, particularly for clients with Employment Practices Liability Insurance (EPLI). Location
Duties
- Handle administrative charges and demand letters related to employment law cases
- Manage employment litigation for clients, including those with EPLI
- Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and briefs
- Collaborate with partners, attorneys, and paralegals on case strategy and execution
- Provide tactical case management and legal support without frequent in-person appearances
- Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws
Requirements
- Minimum of five years of experience in employment law and litigation
- Strong knowledge of employment law and experience with administrative agencies
- Ability to manage cases independently in a remote work setting
Education
- Juris Doctor (.) from an ABA-accredited law school
Certifications
- Active bar membership in good standing in the .
- Preferred bar admission in one or more of the following states: California, New York, Washington, Utah, Alabama, Georgia, or Texas
