New York City office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks insurance regulatory and transactional associate attorney with 2-6 years of experience. The candidate will work with partners in multiple offices on a wide range of insurance regulatory matters across all lines of insurance and will work closely with insurance companies, brokers, agents, and tech companies from around the world. Will also involve assisting with M&A, and private equity transactions related to the insurance industry. Provide effective and reliable legal services to clients and supervising attorneys. Research insurance laws, regulations and case law and provide detailed guidance and analysis to partners and clients. Draft memoranda on discrete legal issues. Draft transaction agreements and documents with efficiency and clarity. Manage transaction closings and processes. Provide thorough factual and legal research and analysis. Competently and professionally communicate with clients and supervising attorneys. Complete tasks efficiently. Expertise in insurance regulatory matters at law firms, insurance companies, insurance agencies, industry groups, and governmental agencies will be considered. Experience in strategic transactions including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and investments, as well as general corporate and corporate governance experience is also preferred. Must be and remain licensed to practice law and in good standing in New York.
