Litigation Paralegal The candidate will help lawyers by investigating facts, researching laws and regulations, and preparing and maintaining legal documents. Will draft pleadings, motions and appellate documents and file them with the court. Perform administrative duties (calendar hearings and deadlines, organize case files, manage logistics etc.). Maintain pleadings and discovery indexes. Organize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs and appendices. Aid attorneys with interrogatories and other discovery requests. Gather relevant information from a variety of sources. Liaise between trial teams and internal/external third parties. Help with voir dire, jury selection and witness preparation. Provide assistance with case settlements.

Qualification and Experience

The candidate should have a High School Diploma. Must have Paralegal certification or degree. Some college experience, including an Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred. Should have 3 years of previous paralegal experience. Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs essential. Previous litigation experience desired. Previous experience with legal database software and cloud server preferred.
