Temporary Legal Assistant/Paralegal The candidate will maintain calendar, arrange meetings and appointments and provide effective and timely reminders to the executives. Create reports and briefs, compose documents/correspondence and proofread documents. Draft pleadings and motions filed in court and secure affidavits. Create and maintain legal files and file documents and contracts in an efficient and timely manner. Maintain contact lists, monitor deadlines. Will Bill for time. Strong attention to detail and proofreading. Technically savvy when it comes to managing electronic documents and accessing cloud based file sharing website (Dropbox). Programs: Adobe/Nitro, Word, Excel. Some OT required. Proven experience as an executive assistant is essential. Should have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be fluent in Microsoft Office applications, Word and Excel and calendaring programs. E-filing experience is essential. Previous experience supporting litigation attorneys is essential.
