Job Overview:
A prominent law firm based in Dallas, TX, is looking to recruit a highly experienced Insurance Defense Junior Partner to lead and expand their insurance defense practice. This senior role involves guiding a dedicated legal team, handling personal injury and general liability litigation, and contributing to the growth of the practice. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in trial processes and litigation, with a strong focus on client satisfaction and legal excellence.

Duties:

  • Lead and manage case conferences, depositions, hearings, trials, mediations, and arbitrations.
  • Oversee and prepare pleadings, motions, notices, and written discovery documents.
  • Conduct thorough fact investigations and site inspections.
  • Supervise and coach associates and legal staff, providing performance feedback and managing conflicts.
  • Collaborate with senior firm leaders on financial forecasts and growth strategies.
  • Attend business conferences and represent the firm at sponsored events.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in civil litigation, specifically insurance defense.
  • Strong trial experience, particularly in personal injury and general liability cases.
  • Licensed to practice law and in good standing with the Texas Bar.
  • Proven leadership abilities, capable of managing and mentoring a team of associates.
  • Excellent legal writing, verbal communication, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple cases and supervising junior staff.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active Bar membership in Texas.

Certifications:

  • Must be licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas.
