Associate General Counsel The candidate will provide ongoing legal support to the Senior Vice President and Chief Counsel on a wide variety of legal and business issues, with a focus on employment issues in the healthcare field. The Associate General Counsel will provide guidance on issues including non-competition, employment agreements, regulatory compliance, and internal investigations and will manage EEOC filings and outside counsel in employment litigation. The Associate General Counsel will also provide support to the Legal Department by assisting with corporate and general risk management issues.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school and bar admission in at least one state. Must be Good standing in all states where admitted. Should have 3 years’ experience in a law firm or in house legal department setting, with a focus in employment law. Must have strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask and work independently. Should have excellent legal writing and research skills. Experience working with the healthcare industry preferred.
