Legal Assistant Duties: Provide administrative and secretarial support to assigned attorneys and provide backup to other attorneys as requested. Assist with administrative tasks as it relates to the specific office and attorneys. Assist with calendar calls and deposition scheduling, as needed. Assist with travel plans, as needed. Other duties as assigned by the Regional Director of Human Resources.

Qualification and Experience

Requirements: Associates Degree or higher. Exceptional organization skills. Positive attitude. Excellent writing and communication skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize workload. Team work oriented. Ability to work in a fast paced and challenging environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office programs. Knowledge of legal terminology and principles. Ability to analyze legal documents and ensure accuracy. Ability to handle pressure, interruptions and multiple projects with frequently changing priorities and deadlines. Must have the ability to work as part of a team, as well as to work independently, with minimal supervision. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint. Perform administrative duties, including proofreading and editing all materials for extreme accuracy and clarity. E-filing knowledge in preparation to file all types of discovery requests, responses to opposing counsel, and motions. Knowledge of legal documents and terminology. Knowledge of expense reporting, billing and dictation.
