The candidate will prepare internal and external documents and communications. Review and negotiate agreements under supervision of legal counsel. Work through various legal questions with business clients under supervision of legal counsel. Lead and participate in legal projects to address various department needs. Assist with creation and dissolution of entities. Prepare and act as company liaison for complex regulatory filings, including insurance company licensing. Assist with maintaining corporate governance processes and documents. Respond to inquiries in support of the legal counsel. Must have Associate Degree or equivalent work experience. Should have 5-7 years of related legal experience; 2+ years of paralegal experience. American Bar Association-Certified Paralegal Training preferred. Must have advanced knowledge of case management, litigation processes, and knowledge of and ability to perform legal research. Experience with resources such as Westlaw and Lexis beneficial. Must have strong analytical ability and knowledge of litigation processes. Should have high level of computer skills and familiarity with legal case management software (ProLaw, Clio, etc).
