ProfileContract Administrator The candidate will work on legal matters. Examples of such matters will include drafting and negotiating contracts and reviewing and responding to RFPs. Reads, constructs, and negotiates contracts/agreements with customers and vendors. Drafts contract documents (including redlining and negotiating them). Cradle to grave procurement contract management and perform all tasks that this requires. Reviews contractual documents (e.g., Vendor Reseller Agreements) generated by sales team members or third parties. Collaborates with internal and external legal department(s) and business personnel for contractual changes requested. Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously; with an ability to prioritize. Reviews and responds to RFPs. Maintains files and logs of all current and completed contracts as required by company policy. Provides legal support to General Counsel on work assignments. Handles a wide variety of confidential and time sensitive matters and must be able to keep matters confidential. Prepares various legal documents (including contracts) for review, approval, and use by General Counsel. Researches legal issues, as necessary, as they apply to the company and its business operations. Prepares various correspondence (e.g., letters, memoranda, and reports). Performs administrative tasks (including preparing and modifying contracts, sending and receiving mail and packages, and maintaining filing systems). Performs other clerical duties (e.g., scheduling appointments, providing information to callers, composing and typing routine correspondence, and reading and routing incoming mail). Performs other duties, as assigned. Negotiates leases (and related documents) with landlords and maintains the related documents and files.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate must have 2-year college degree in Business or related field or extensive job-related experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills is required. Ability to work in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and the Internet is required. 4-year college degree in Business preferred, will consider candidates with Paralegal or Law Degree. Previous business experience in a sales, high-tech hardware sales, or telecommunications environment preferred.
