Paralegal - Temp to Hire Responsibilities: Create reports based on case specifications and attorney requests. Draft, review, edit, and finalize customer, channel partner, technology licensing and other agreements including but not limited to NDAs, master purchase, reseller, and software license agreements that comply with company policies and risk tolerance Develop a case file indexing system that can be used as an active archive for all ongoing and completed cases. Assist in developing and maintaining contracts-related processes and procedures, such as developing and maintaining playbook, standard forms, contracts database, etc.. Monitor changes to government guidelines or regulations and submit reports on pertinent changes. Utilize existing files and a variety of other research resources to develop information for pending cases. Develop a case file indexing system that can be used as an active archive for all ongoing and completed cases. Day to day administrative support of the Legal Department.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: Associate Degree in Paralegal Studies required; Bachelor’s degree preferred + 5 years of experience. Experience drafting, redlining, and negotiating commercial contracts. Monitor changes to government guidelines or regulations and submit reports on pertinent changes. Experience working in a law firm or an in-house corporate team at a publicly-traded company. Strong attention to detail and the proven ability to manage competing priorities effectively. Strong written and verbal communication required.
