Quality Assurance and Client Audit Services Specialist The candidate will support the efforts of the Director of Quality Assurance and Client Audit Services to ensure consistent quality compliance with respect to litigation management and client specific guidelines through internal audits, education, training, issue identification and resolution. Will assist the Director in preparing for client audits and responding to client's findings and concerns. Provide guidance to attorneys and staff with regard to compliance issues and resolution of invoice appeals. Assist with the preparation of and response to client audits on behalf of the firm. Interact with attorneys with regard to compliance, billing, and audit issues. Perform internal audits to identify opportunities for best practice and improvement and communicate findings effectively to support implementation measures. Analyze LEDES data for identification of points of interest related to litigation management and quality guideline compliance. Contribute to efforts to provide consistent high quality client services. Contribute to efforts to improve realization rates and firm profitability.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have a J.D. degree with experience in civil defense litigation. Should have experience in the insurance industry either in claims, management, and/or legal. Must have 7+ years of experience in above areas. Familiarity with the basic concepts of litigation management and legal project management is required. Ability to review and analyze litigation files and billing data to identify patterns and issues related to client specific guidelines and generally accepted practice is needed. Should have ability to discern opportunities and define recommendations to adapt to client specific guidelines and generally accepted practice. Should also have ability to work with LEDES data and other e-billing data and protocols (e.g. Legal eXchange, TyMetrics, etc).
