Contracts Specialist
Responsibilities: Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide variety of agreements (Confidentiality Agreements, Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Material Transfer Agreements (MTAs), Consulting Agreements, Statements of Work (SOWs), IT Agreements, Clinical Trial Agreements (CTAs), and vendor agreements) and associated documents in support of company goals. Collaborating with Finance and other internal departments to administer company's RFP, RFQ and RFI processes for commercial and governmental related procurements. Providing day-to-day administration of company's contract management system (CMS), including monthly reporting of executed and expiring contracts. Responding to inquiries regarding contract obligations and procedures, including identification/escalation of contract-related project risks to ensure timely resolution of contract issues. Coordinating amendments and modifications to existing contracts, subcontracts and SOWs. Assisting other members of the Legal & Contracts department with other projects, including implementation of additional functionalities of CMS, enhancement of policies and procedures, and participation in company training.

Qualification and Experience

Requirements: Associates degree with a focus in Business, Contracts, or Paralegal Studies; or Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred. Five or more years related contracts experience. Biotechnology, pharmaceutical or US Government contracting experience with a knowledge of FARs a strong plus. Experience administering or using contract lifecycle management solutions. Experience with publicly traded company(ies) preferred. Strong administrative, analytical, communication, and writing skills. Successful track record interacting with senior management. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft applications. General computer and related technology skills. Experience with SharePoint and contract management systems and software a strong plus.
