The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in workers' compensation law and a strong commitment to providing exceptional legal counsel and representation. The role involves handling a diverse range of workers' compensation cases, conducting legal research, drafting documents, and representing clients in various legal proceedings. The candidate should possess excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of workers' compensation procedures, and the ability to stay informed about changes in relevant laws and regulations.

Duties:

• Provide expert legal advice and representation to clients in workers' compensation matters.
• Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and provide accurate guidance.
• Draft legal documents and pleadings with precision and attention to detail.
• Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings to achieve favorable outcomes.
• Stay updated on changes in workers' compensation laws and regulations, and ensure compliance with applicable rules.
• Develop and implement effective case strategies tailored to each client's needs.
• Manage a diverse caseload, including handling discovery, preparing for trials, and reviewing case materials.
• Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates, answer questions, and address concerns.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to ensure comprehensive case management and client support.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active Bar membership in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Proven experience working in a legal office environment with a strong understanding of workers' compensation procedures.
• Knowledge of Workers' Compensation Appeals Board (WCAB) rules and procedures.
• 3+ years of experience in workers' compensation law or related legal practice.
• Proficiency in legal drafting, research, negotiation, and case management.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly.
