A law firm seeks a motivated associate with 3–6 years of healthcare transactional and regulatory experience to join its Boston office. This position offers an exciting opportunity to engage in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary practice that serves a diverse client base across the healthcare industry. The role focuses on advising clients on complex regulatory compliance and supporting transformative transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and private equity investments.

Duties

  • Counsel clients on healthcare regulatory compliance, including fraud and abuse laws, state licensure requirements, and value-based care frameworks.
  • Guide corporate practice of medicine/fee-splitting rules and health care antitrust concerns.
  • Assist in structuring and negotiating mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and other complex transactions.
  • Develop and implement healthcare industry contracts and governance structures.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address strategic and operational challenges in the healthcare sector.
  • Work with clients across various healthcare sectors, including hospitals, medical groups, insurers, and digital health companies.

Requirements

  • Experience: 3–6 years of healthcare transactional experience, including private equity deals and joint ventures.
  • Expertise: Strong knowledge of healthcare regulatory issues, including compliance, licensure, and antitrust.
  • Interest: Passion for addressing healthcare industry trends and challenges.

Education

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active bar membership in good standing in the jurisdiction of practice.
