ProfileAttorney Advisor (Environmental) Duties: The candidate will perform a wide variety of legal duties relative to environmental cases or legal issues of extreme difficulty having to balance conflicting interests. May act as the lead environmental counsel to a significant operating program or in an adversarial proceeding where legal questions are extremely complex. Represent Chief Counsel in conferences involving matters of a legal nature. Prepare and/or review written opinions with respect to the legal implications in various areas of law with a focus on Federal and State statutory and regulatory environmental legal matters.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: The candidate should have a law degree from a school accredited by the ABA, and membership of the Bar of a state or territory of the United States, District of Columbia, or Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, with 2 years of professional legal experience OR membership of the Bar of a state or territory of the United States, District of Columbia, or Commonwealth of Puerto Rico AND a second professional law degree (LL.M) with 1 year of professional legal experience. Must currently be a member in good standing of the Bar of a state or territory of the United States, District of Columbia, or Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
